BS a must with a mid level of experience
with .NET web development.
Knowledge of methodology, procedures and
practices in all facets of the systems
development life cycle, particularly systems
design and implementation.

Position requires a working knowledge of
commonly-used concepts, practices, and
procedures used in the design, selection,
development and implementation of business
application systems.
Knowledge, skills or experience in one or
more of the following areas is desired;
-Development of web based applications,
preferably in a Microsoft centric
environment utilizing current Microsoft
development tools.
-Design and development of client/server
applications, preferably utilizing current
development tools in a Microsoft centric
environment.
-Design and development of business
application systems utilizing relational
database technologies, preferably Microsoft’s
SQL Server.

Responsibilities: |
| Reviews, analyzes, and modifies business
application systems.
Activities include analyzing business
requirements, designing new systems or
modifications to existing systems, and
coding, testing, debugging and implementing
the required programs or modifications.
Regularly consults with users to identify
current operating procedures and to clarify
system business requirements and objectives.
Develops functional and technical systems
design specifications to meet defined needs,
following established standards and systems
development methodology.
Working directly with associates in other
functional areas, evaluates and selects
application software tools to meet defined
needs, following established standards and
software selection methodology.
Monitors and tracks status of all assigned
projects and activities and reports progress
to Manager of Business Application Systems
Development & Support as requested.
Develops program specifications, codes,
tests, and debugs programs.
Develops and maintains and/or assists users
in the design, development and maintenance
of forms and user procedures for new or
existing systems.
Prepares and maintains Computer Operations
Procedures for new or existing systems.
Identifies and recommends improvements to
data processing standards and systems
development and support procedures
Where assigned, supervises programmers in
the coding, testing and debugging of
specifications developed by the programmer
analyst.
Provides training, direction and guidance
for lower level associates in Information
Services.
May assist in development of user training
materials or conducting user training for
new or existing systems, although this is
primarily a user responsibility.
Provides assistance and support for new or
existing systems as assigned by the Manager
of Business Application Systems Development
& Support. |
