ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for the Marketing Strategy for the department.  Recommends the necessary analytic methodologies to implement marketing strategy.
  2. Responsible for the Measurement and Analysis Plan for the department.
  3. Works to segment current and potential markets and identify market and product opportunities.
  4. Conducts various levels of business analysis utilizing marketing analysis and statistical techniques.
  5. Shares in ownership of vendor selection and management for data appends, list purchasing, strategy, creative development and marketing execution.
  6. Utilizes the marketing strategy to create tactical, measureable marketing campaigns.
  7. Works with necessary marketing partners to executive all dimensions of marketing strategy.
  8. Owner and subject matter expert of functional area marketing information posted to the company website.
  9. Responsible for working within government, company and direct marketing rules, regulations and guidelines.
  10. Works as a liaison with corporate communications, web design, creative, information technology and sales support.
  11. Responsible for focus groups and survey development and execution.
  12. Conducts Customer Profiling, Multivariate Analysis, Cluster Analysis, RFM and decision tree development and implementation.
  13. Responsible for DOE, Control group design and measurement, ANOVAS and Chi-Square statistical methods and customer segmentation.
  14. Develop and support data strategy development and marketing data repository.
  15. Share data insights and present analytic results with key constituents and partners.
  16. Stay abreast of industry knowledge and best practices to provide marketing and analytics leadership to the company.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in related field including experience in a leadership role.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the development, design and execution of marketing strategies.
  4. Extensive analytical skills.
  5. Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
  6. Ability to lead and positively influence organizational change.
  7. Ability to work under general direction.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  9. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including thorough documentation.
  10. Ability to identify opportunities and streamline processes; continuous improvement.
  11. Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal guidance; efficient time management.
